| Jambo Rafiki is a 57’x10’ Dutch Barge offered with its own secure mooring at Milton Keynes Marina. She was built by V & G Boatbuilders in 2008 and is fitted with a Beta Greenline 50HP diesel engine with PRM 150 gearbox, Vetus 75kgf bow thruster, and hydraulic steering. She is finished to a very high standard of workmanship throughout, with a layout designed for luxury living for a couple who want to explore the canal and rivers of Europe, she is designed for constant, live aboard and is self sufficient when out and about! She has a spacious feeling about her, with double berth to the forward cabin, shower room to the aft cabin, modern kitchen, spacious saloon with and newly fitted double glazed skylight (June 2017) with fitted blinds. The professional fit out has solid oak flooring and worktops, a full Eberspacher central heating system (new 2014), satellite automatic signal dome, 4KW whisper generator, 490 watt solar panels, 2500 watt inverter/charger, 150amp/45amp alternators, and 3 battery banks (550 amp domestic, 160 amp bow thruster, 80 amp starter). She was blacked and new anodes fitted in 2017, and her boat safety certificate expires in December 2020. |
