General |
| “Wendover” is a David Thomas built 60’ narrowbeam Dutch Barge. Considered to be one of the best examples of this style of boat with classic lines from a builder with a reputation for building stunning boats of this style. Wendover was built in 1998, with cruiser stern, secure wheelhouse, stylist saloon with oak panelling/floor and cupboards with lead lighting doors, Morse Squirrel multi-fuel stove in the saloon, large fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with walk-in fully tiled Mira shower, and double berth cabin in the bow. She has a Lister LPWS4 Marine Canal Star water cooled diesel engine with a Newage PRM Marine gearbox, and Vetus 50kgf bow thruster to the bow. She was repainted in 2015, and has heavy brass work throughout including opening brass portholes to all the cabins, brass head lamp, large eagle tiller pin, and brass ships bell! She has 240/12 volts electrics throughout having a Mastervolt Combi inverter charger( 2500-100) with battery maintenance controller, and a Hurricane SCH25diesel central heating system with 5 radiators. She has a 20mm base plate (a design which gives more head room inside) and was last blacked in 2012 and comes with a BSC until Feb 2018. |
